Code ERT (Environment Rescue Team) (Still in Development)

This project aims to use an educational webtoon format to address climate crisis, land pollution, water pollution, and air pollution issues in the Philippines. The webtoon employs storytelling with Filipino characteristics and culture to engage readers emotionally and raise awareness. By using an anime-style representation, it targets a younger audience and effectively conveys complex messages through a combination of illustrations and text. Webtoons are chosen for their accessibility and distribution online, making them suitable for students, as a learning tool that informs and entertains. The goal is not only to engage students but also to inspire action against climate change and its impact on the environment and people.

With a group of 3 members, we were able to passed our final capstone defense with a verdict of passed with major revisions. I am proud to be part of this project, as I contributed meaningfully to the group. I am the Web Developer and Assistant Artist, my role gave a significant contibutions to the project and I am proud that I developed majority of the website. This project will be given and utilized by our client, MDRRMO (Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office). Special thanks to my team, Ms. Jana Alyssa Yac and Mr. Leo Paragatos.
